British Animal Studies Network Meeting on „Sex“ , Glasgow , April 27-28, 2018 [AUN]

I am delighted to announce that registration to attend the first BASN meeting of 2018 is now open. ‚Sex‘ will take place at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow on 27 and 28 April. Plenary speakers are: Andy Butterworth (Animal Science and Policy, Bristol University), Stella Sandford (Philosophy, Kingston University), Karl Steel (Medieval Studies, Brooklyn College, CUNY). And Susan Richardson, the BASN poet-in-residence, will be performing. Food will be vegan, the welcome friendly and the conversation interesting!

An early-bird discount is in place until 11 March.
In addition, Susan Richardson will be running a writing workshop for postgraduate students at 11.00am on Friday 27 April at the university.
